Lunch with Daddy

We enjoyed a great lunch with Jeff while we were off for Christmas and New Year's even though he still had to work. Elizabeth sat next to her Daddy in her first booster seat while we ate pot roast at Black Eyed Pea in The Woodlands.

Helping Momma

Ok, so this is my dad's Christmas present that was LATE! I was trying to finish it up, but Elizabeth was being REALLY helpful and it wasn't getting finished that quickly. Oh well, who cares?

Christmas Morning

She watched me wrap the rest of the presents Christmas morning.

Our awesome Christmas breakfast! It was delicious. I made waffles, eggs, and bacon before we opened the presents.

I think we're going to have to open presents and then do breakfast next year.

Christmas Eve Pictures

After I got my new camera for Christmas I had forgotten to download my pictures for the old camera. Here are some pictures from Christmas Eve that I never put online.

We went to the Koon's house for the traditional ham and potato soup and off to church for the candle light service. Elizabeth changed into her pretty Christmas dress which I didn't take pictures of, sorry. She kept trying to play with people sitting in the pew infront of us during the service. She REALLY wanted to have the Lord's supper and made it through everything except the actually lighting of the candles.

She's opening her first Christmas present from Mimi and Papa.
She was really good at ripping off the paper.

YEA!!! A blanket! It's now the one she sleeps with every night.
Elizabeth slept the whole way home.

Funny food habit

Ok, Elizabeth has started to do this almost every time she eats now. What a little begger! I guess she really likes food. She's eating rice cereal mixed with mixed fruits, but she does it with most anything.

SANTA!!!!!! Not Santa!!

We went to the Doss Community Center to see Mimi and SANTA!!! As you can see, Elizabeth saw right through the costume and was devastated that she wasn't meeting the "real" Santa Claus.
After seeing Santa, we scoped out all the cool winter scenes around the community center. Elizabeth really loved the penguins. She stood at the gate and just laughed. I still can't think of what she could have been laughing at.
Then, Mimi showed her all the cool Christmas trees. There were so many cool themed trees. Here's a peppermint/snowflake tree.
After all the looking around, we enjoyed a tall glass of lemonade. Elizabeth really enjoy the cup more than anything.

She was a great little girl the whole time. A little clingy, but still good. We left around 9:00 and she was still crawling around Mimi's office and putting on a show even though her normal bedtime is 8:00. On the way home, she fell asleep in the car. She was so tuckered out she never woke up when I changed her diaper or put her in her pajamas. She finally got in bed around 10:00.

We had lots of fun making ornaments, meeting Santa, decorating cookies, and looking at all the cool stuff around the community center.

Koon Baby

Ok, so Elizabeth went with me to my second prenatal checkup. She was a great little sidekick especially when she had a graham cracker in her hand. First we weighed in. Then, we did my blood pressure and most exciting of all we heard her new sister/brother's heartbeat. They had a little bit of trouble finding his/her heartbeat. A second lady came in and was about to give up and let the ultrasound lady have her turn when she finally found it. The heartrate was 162 bpm.

I asked if we would get to find out the baby's sex next time since it would be 16 weeks and that's what they did with Elizabeth, but he said no.... BUMMER! We have to wait until the February appointment. Oh well. Happy Valentine's Day!

Getting ready for Christmas...

Welp, we have the tree up and now it's time to decorate. Elizabeth wanted to make sure she had a part of it too. She's was all excited to get all of the ornaments out of their boxes so she could play with the box. =)
Please excuse the hair. It was VERY early in the morning.

She did a great job holding the star while I got out the ladder to get to the top of our nine foot tree.

TEETH!!!

Elizabeth is growing, growing, growing! She's starting to crawl around on her knees instead of doing her little army man crawl. She now has two teeth, but you can only really see one. She's eating big people food too! She ate a blueberry muffin made by her daddy last Saturday. I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Gimme, gimme!!!

Here she is occupying her time making those important phone calls while she's waiting to see the doctor. He ended up giving us eye drops for pink eye and GROSS purple medicine for congestion. She really hates the purple medicine. Ok, she hated the eye drops too, but those stopped after five days. We're still taking the congestion stuff.

Here she is eating her first REAL meal. Stroganoff, mashed potatoes, mac'n'cheese (blue box), and baked beans. She ate ALL of the mac'n'cheese and baked beans, half of the mashed potatoes, and only two spoon fulls of stroganoff. She loved it!
She really LOVES blueberry muffins!

Old and New

Welp, it looks like we're going to add the Koon family in June. I took a pregnancy test the Sunday before Halloween and it was positive. I haven't really been feeling much like I did last time so I took another one on Monday and it was also positive. Now it begins.... all the doctor visits. Atleast Elizabeth won't have to go every three months anymore....I don't think. The good thing on top of everything else is that this baby will be born in the summer and I won't have to take time off from school in the middle of the year again. YEA!!!

See...it's positive!!!

Remember Elizabeth when she was only a couple weeks old???

She's grown up so much!! Here she is at 9 months old.

Halloween pajamas rock!

Elizabeth got some CUTE little pajamas from Nana and Pappy for Halloween. I know it's not Halloween yet, but it's the right month. Soooooooo, she's wearing them and they're CUTE on her. I love the pumpkin on the rear-end. Best of all, she's wearing them. So that makes them even cuter. =)

MOHAWK!!!!

Elizabeth woke up this morning with a serious mohawk. Now that I look at the picture it just looks like she got electrocuted, but in real life it was a mohawk.

Here she is waiting for breakfast. After breakfast...
