Kyle is here!!

Kyle Richard Koon was born on Thursday July 28, 2011 at 9:05am in The Woodlands at St. Luke's Hospital. He was 20 in long and weighed in at 8 lbs 8 oz.

Elizabeth and Cody love their new brother. Elizabeth couldn't wait to hold her newest baby brother.

This is right after he had his first bath and was just staying warm under the lamps.

I know...... it's pretty cheesey, but it's our first family picture.

Past due...

Ok, so Kyle was due on Monday, July 25th. It's now the end of the 26th and he's still not here. If he doesn't make a showing by Friday, we're scheduled to go to the hospital at 5:00am so I can be induced. HOPEFULLY he comes before then I don't want to wake up that early. I guess it won't be that bad. The hospital is only 5min away. I could wake up at 4:45 and make it on time. =) That just means that I have to find someone that will be at my house that early. Hmm...

Cody's 2nd Birthday Party

We celebrated Cody's 2nd birthday with family and friends at our house. Cody started out his day with a birthday breakfast of pancakes and syrup, his favorite.

We had hotdogs for lunch. All the kids ate outside next to the trampoline in the only shady spot in our yard.

Cody and his cousin Noah enjoyed a noodle fight after jumping on the trampoline. I think Cody has the upper hand unless Noah knocks him off the table. GO BOYS!

Nana helped hold Cody steady while Elizabeth helped her brother blow out the candles on his SPONGEBOB cake.

Cody really enjoyed his yummy birthday cake.

It was a great day and we're so happy that we had another year with our little boy. He's so silly and sweet. We're looking forward to the next year and seeing all the new things he's going to do.

A B C D....

Here's a little video of Elizabeth singing her ABCs while she was taking a break from swimming.

Here's another song by Elizabeth. She made it up all on her own. HOW CREATIVE! I think she made a nice use of the lyrics.

Father's Day at Doss

We traveled down to Mimi's community center for a Father's Day Celebration. You're supposed to go an take a picture, color a card, and play games to get ready for Father's Day.

We had lots of fun and were happy that our friends joined us.

I don't think Elizabeth was quite ready for the picture. That or she has a bad cheese face.

Here we go. That's better. Gotta make sure the hair looks good.

Cody and Momma! He's so cute.

Our friends the Beauchenes. Momma Katie, Brenna and Isaac. (Elizabeth's best friends)

The first thing we did was get in line to take our picture for Daddy's card. This is our best shot.

Each kid got a necklace with a card on it when they got to the community center. It had every thing listed on it for them to do. Here's Elizabeth making her plan of what she wants to do.

Fun in the sun!

The highlight of Elizabeth and Cody's day is when we get to go outside and swim. They really like holding the waterhose to fill up the pool. Unforturnately, a lot of the water doesn't seem to go in the pool when they do that so we had to set up some rules. Here are a few pictures of them having fun.

This is a picture of my Kyle belly at 8 months. It's only June and I wish he'd come already. It's a long hot summer.

Cool Cody in my sunglasses. I have no clue where his sunglasses went. Oh well, he just likes wearing them on his head anyway.

Out of the pool, wrapped up, and ready to go inside.

Of course you have to lay in bed and watch SpongeBob after a long time of playing in the sun and water.

Blueberry Picking!

On the first day of our summer vacation we decided to go blueberry picking at the Moorhead Blueberry Farm about 15 minutes from our house. It was great day! We got there around 7:45 with a temperature of 71 degrees. We stayed for about an hour and Elizabeth and I picked 2.3 pounds of blueberries. Not too shabby.

After getting instructions on which berries are the best, the kids were ready to go!

Elizabeth and Isaac led the way.

They were very good about picking the BLUE ones. Well, everyone except Cody. We'll have to work on his colors a little more. All of Brenna's ended up in her tummy after she discovered how tasty they were.

Here's Elizabeth showing off our buckets. Momma's, Cody's and Elizabeth's. We got 2.3 pounds of blueberries. A very good job! They gave us Cody's bucket of berries at no charge....including the dirt.

It was a great morning. At $2 a pound, it was a pretty cheap morning of entertainment.

Happy Birthday Jeffrey!!

Elizabeth is enjoying her daddy's birthday cookie. She REALLY liked the chocolate icing on the cookie cake.

LOOK! Big boy Cody is sitting in a regular chair for the first time instead of high chair.

Lance and Jeff.

Jeff turned 35!! Here's a little video of Elizabeth singing the birthday song to him.

The REAL Elizabeth

This is a video of Elizabeth's apology after to got into the junk draw and found markers and fingernail polish. We didn't hear anything from her and then Jeff went downstairs to find her looking like THIS! Atleast she's getting better at painting her nails. There wasn't any polish on the floor this time. =)

Yes, that's permanent marker folks.

A day in the BLUEBONNETS

We were going to go all the way to Washington on the Brazos State Park, but we found a huge field of bluebonnets on the way there and decided to save time and gas by stopping at the field infront of the Montgomery Football Stadium.

Pappy's Concert

Elizabeth and I made our way over to First Baptist Church in Willis, TX to watch Pappy and his group sing Southern Gospel Music. She was REALLY excited to go watch her Pappy sing. Right when we took our seat he interrupted and pointed out Elizabeth who giggled and waved back. She finally got to give her Pappy a hug and a kiss during intermission and then she got to go on stage for a song and waved at the crowd. EVERYONE knew who she was by the end of the night. They kept asking her if she came to see her Papa and she would say no....PAPPY. =) Here are a few pictures of her with the Master's Men in Willis.

We're having a....

BOY! Yes, we're having another stinky boy. I really thought it would be a girl. Now Elizabeth and I will be outnumbered by boys. That just means we get to have a girl dog! YEA!!! No, for real. We're lucky to have another boy. Cody is the best little boy in the world. I'm glad that he and Elizabeth get to have a little brother. Atleast we already have all the stuff for a boy still. They will be two years apart. My due date is still July 25th.

Almost 16 weeks

Monday will make 16 weeks into this pregnancy. I'm still thinking we're going to have a girl, but we'll find out for sure on Feb. 22.

Both of my babies are sick. =/ I took off work on Monday and took them to the doctor, but they've only gotten worse as the week has gone on. I guess I should have taken them back yesterday, but the roads were iced over and it was dangerous to drive. Atleast it was nice to have Jeff home all day.

The Real Party

Elizabeth's THIRD Birthday Party!!! Strawberry Shortcake was the theme. Yes, it was chosen by the birhtday girl. She called it her berry party and was very excited when the big day arrived. Lots of people joined us for the celebration. Nana and Pappy, Mimi, Papaw, Lance, Reid, Aunt Lauren, Noah and their friend Megan, Aunt Terrie, Aunt Joanie, Maw Maw and Paw Bear, Grandma and Grandpa, Josh, Jonathan, Steven and Nolan, and Deedra, Bucky and Jake along with Elizabeth's best friends Isaac, Brenna and Katie!

The kids in my class colored lots of different Straberry Shortcakes to hang on the walls and door.

Elizabeth started out the party by getting her finger smashed in the door by accident. Nana made it all better by putting a bandaid on the finger and giving Elizabeth lots of hugs.

Jeff did a great job grilling hotdogs and stirring the chili.

Cody was a great little brother and enjoyed his lunch.

Here's Elizabeth next to Isaac enjoying her birthday song. She's soooooooo ready to blow out the candles.
