9 weeks along

I had an ultrasound today and found out that I'm due July 25th. So I'm nine weeks and 1 day as of today. I can't wait until Feb when we get to find out what we're having. Elizabeth said she wants a brother. I told her she could paint her room pink if she had a sister. Now she wants a sister. =)

Aaron's band was requested at a school in the Woodlands. I was happy because we live so close and that meant that we would get to go see him perform. Momma and Daddy picked me up at my house while Jeff stayed at home to watch the kids. Lauren met us there with a couple friends.

I have to say I am very proud of my brother. He has accomplished a lot since he's been a marine. He's actually had the chance to come speak to my class a few times. They ALWAYS love it!

New Koon on the Way!

Welp, I went to the doctor today for my yearly checkup and found out that I'm pregnant. Boy was I surprised. The rest of the appointment was me asking the doctor if he was serious and if he was joking. He assured me that he wasn't joking and showed me the test results. I go again on Dec. 21st.

Happy Halloween 2010

We went trick-or-treating in Kingwood with the Beauchenes. Elizabeth ended up napping before all the fun. Cody enjoyed watching Backyardigans on the screen. =)

This is our posse. We were a pretty big group. Next year we'll be smart and bring a wagon too.

We had a really great time. Elizabeth got lots of candy and finally said Trick or Treat by the end of the night. It was pretty funny the first few times. She wouldn't even get the candy and then would sneak up and snatch it. I hope next year is better and Cody walks up to the door too.

My Project

I decided that I wanted to be creative and make something today. I bought some fabric to make a purse back at Christmas and figured I might as well do that finally.

Elizabeth was a great helper. She played with the scraps of material and even sewed a few pieces of the purse.

Cody kept crawling under the table to get to me and make me stop to play. He's so cute I couldn't resist.

Elizabeth got sleepy from all the work. So, she ended up taking a nap next to Woody. She even made the little bed for Woody.

The finished product. It's HUGE! I think I'm going to end up using it as my teacher bag next year.

Meeting Vivienne

We went to Nana and Pappy's house where we finally got to meet Vivienne in Lumberton, TX. She is a month old and super cute! Her big brother Tyler is really proud and you can really tell he loves her a lot. She is Elizabeth and Cody's newest cousin.
