5 months old

Cody is finally 5 months old. He's growing well and is a happy little boy. He now eats rice cereal and oatmeal. He likes green beans but not sweet peas. The total opposite of Elizabeth. She won't eat green beans to this day to save her life. Tonight he tried squash for the first time and gobbled down the whole bowl. It must be his favorite. Cody takes about 3 one hour naps a day and sleeps through the night. YAY!!! (Unless he gets a wild hair and then wakes up at 3:00am for no reason.) Cody enjoys playing with the links and hanging pets in his little play area. He is probably teething since he drools all the time. He's still a smiley, happy little boy and I love to give him lots of hugs and kisses.

Oh yeah, he can roll from his tummy to back and he's working on rolling from his back to tummy. He's almost got it.

Sweet teddy.

Christmas time is here!!

While Elizabeth and Cody were away at Nana and Pappy's house we put up the tree so Elizabeth would be suprised when she came home. Jeff brought her in the house. She was still sleepy and cranky from the long trip home. Just as she was about to start crying and throw a fit he showed her the tree and she started smiling and saying TREE. She smiled the whole time she walked over and inspected the tree and its lights. I got her to start helping me decorate the tree. So, a lot of the ornaments aren't really hung on the tree. They're placed right were she left them....at the bottom branches.

Look at the concentration on her face as she tries to get to loop open so she can hang the ornament on the tree.

Ok, ok. Elizabeth was really excited about hanging the ornaments and didn't really wait for me to take the wrapping off of this ornament before she started putting it on the tree.

Ooooh, the Texas boot! Yes, it's a glass ornament.

Even with all the work she did, Elizabeth still found time to play with Cody.

Yep, she going back for more ornaments. She's such a great helper.

Happy Thanksgiving

Welp, Elizabeth was the first one ready to head off to Nana and Pappy's house for Thanksgiving. She occupied her time by walking around the front yard while we loaded the car.

I was trying the get a good picture of her, but she kept walking away and then she wouldn't quit saying BA BA BA. So, it is what it is.

Here's a picture of CODY in his cool onsie for his 1st Thanksgiving.

Aunt Mandy (Vivienne is still growing in her belly), Cody, and Nana.

Tyler and Elizabeth were playing catch with Uncle Aaron. Well, Aaron was throwing the ball back and forth to Tyler. Elizabeth just ran around and followed the ball if it hit the ground. Pretty funny in person. Jeff and I took off while they were playing. She just waved bye and kept playing. LOOK! You can see her waving. She blew a few kisses too.

It was a fun Thanksgiving.

Uhh....procratination

Welp, tomorrow........I mean today is Thanksgiving! It's 1:00am and I'm up baking a pie. So here's the story. I was supposed to make an apple pie, but Lauren told me today that I'm supposed to make pumpkin or we won't have one. So I'm making both. I thought I could make both pies in the morning, but the more I thought about it, the less confident I was that I could make and bake two pies before we were supposed to leave for Lumberton. Now I'm still awake waiting on the pumpkin pie to finish cooking. It has 13 minutes left to bake. YAY!!! I hope it tastes good. It smells good. =)

I still have to make the apple pie in the morning. Cody's crying. BYE!
Look at how happy he is to be awake at 1:30 in the morning!!! Oh well, no rest for the weary.
